Rasa Drane

Rasa Drane started with us in the fall of 2024. Not even here a year, she has already taken her new position by the reins and sought to improve and increase efficiencies in her area, by developing new systems and initiatives to successfully support our students, the work that we do to help students succeed and to have an overall positive educational experience.

Rasa is an idea person! Conscientious and incredibly self-motivated, she has reached out to Arts & Architecture school and department leadership to develop stronger working relationships and to instigate deeper and more strategic thinking about recruitment, retention, and student support. Focusing her work and using her capacity efficiently and effectively, she has also worked with colleagues to organize and reorganize data in a way that helps all of us to see the bigger picture; where and how to deploy the resources we have at our disposal, and to use them where they will have the most benefit. A great listener, so far, she has never hesitated to step up and be helpful to students or advocate for their needs when they reach out for help.

Overall, Rasa ‘s dedication and impact will likely grow as she continues to plant her feet on the ground. So far it has been exemplary.
